Comprehensive Financial Planning
Our services are comprehensive in that they include risk management, tax planning, retirement planning, investment management, and estate planning. Our goal is to guide you to personal financial success and wealth. Comprehensive financial planning is not a one-time assessment. It is a multi-step process that takes weeks, months, or sometimes years to implement. The key parts of this process are:
Identifying and prioritizing your goals. Sometimes goals are simple and clear: “I want to pay for my children’s college education” or “I want to have enough income when I retire at age 55”. Other times goals are more complex: “I want my children to take over my family owned business and minimize estate/inheritance taxes”. |
Gathering data and preparing a snapshot of where you are currently at financially and address any immediate concerns. |
Reviewing each area of financial planning (investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning) and recommending strategies to increase net worth and minimize risk. The process may also include other areas such as education planning, maximizing retirement income, charitable and family gifting, and stock option planning. |
Implementing our recommendations, monitoring results, and revising as necessary. This includes ensuring your assets are adequately protected and isolating your exposure to financial risk. We help design an estate plan to minimize taxes and maximize your legacy to family and/or charitable beneficiaries. On an ongoing basis we will monitor the performance of your investments, prepare tax returns and implement tax-saving strategies, and proactively evaluate and recommend changes to your plan based on economic factors, tax policies, and your financial objectives. |
